Oh yeah, I also am trying to lose weight with Weight Watchers & hope to one day be able to call myself a runner.

According to my scale, I gained 4.2 pounds. I worked out 5 times this week & I ate fairly well. Except for yesterday. I ate too much cheese. But not enough for that much of a gain. I’m hoping that I’m retaining water. At least that’s what I’m telling myself.

Going back to bed. Wake me up next Monday. I’m extremely mad at myself right now.

This is the first time I actually feel like crying because I’m so frustrated.

  1. myballoonburst said: *hug* gaining sucks. but we can’t control the scale, just what we do & eat. sounds like you did your best last week, & the scale just didn’t cooperate. here’s hoping it’s just water & next week you’ll lose 5 or 6lbs instead:)

  3. fittingin said: Of course you didn’t gain 4 pounds of fat in a week. Your body is retaining water and swelling from the workout and maybe a little bloated from the cheese. If your scale can ruin your day, ruin your scale. Throw it out. It’s not worth it.
