I went to a WW meeting today. I think that it was a good week to join as they talked about anchors and what keeps you motivated. The leader gave several examples and asked for other suggestions. I realized that an anchor that I carry with me all the time is my Do Life tattoo. I often forget that I have it so my small goal for this week is to glance at it every time I track my food. It will remind me of why it’s so important to me to be healthy and fit.
The meeting was mostly women and most were a lot older than me. Now don’t get me wrong, there isn’t anything wrong with that but I want to find a group of people who share the same struggles with me. At the same time, I’m sure I can learn a lot from them so I’m going to try these meetings for the next two months. One of my friends on FB shared a WW deal - one month free of a Monthly Pass if you paid for one month. I changed my subscription from eTools only so we will see how it goes.
Next week, the meeting will focus on Mindful Eating which is something that I definitely need & want to learn more about. Today is the first day in a looooong time that I tracked all my food and made good food choices.
