That's what life should be all about...

Oh yeah, I also am trying to lose weight with Weight Watchers & hope to one day be able to call myself a runner.
The Cool Kids

I had set some goals at the beginning of the month & unfortunately I fell short in most areas.

  1. Lose 8 pounds (actual weight lost this month was 1.1 pounds)
  2. Workout at least 1000 minutes (actual minutes were 938)
  3. Walk at least 50 miles (actual miles were 54.7 yay!)
  4. Workout at least 21 days (actual days were 15)

I am disappointed in my weight loss for sure.  I could’ve done so much better.  So much better.  But I wasn’t giving it 100% until it was too late to catch up to the end of the month.   If I hadn’t gotten discouraged the third week of the month, I would’ve easily met my fitness goals.

So that was January.  I am setting the same goals for February & even though it’s a shorter month, I am keeping all the numbers the same.  That just means I have to push myself harder.  I am going to continue to log both on MyFitnessPal & Weight Watchers.   I started week 10 of the half marathon training guide I am following so as long as I do the work, I should be able to reach my goals in February.
