Oh yeah, I also am trying to lose weight with Weight Watchers & hope to one day be able to call myself a runner.

Going to what I hope will be an empty gym & walk 4 miles. Tomorrow I’m scheduled to walk 8 miles but since it took 2 full days to recover from Sunday’s 7 miles I debating what my mileage tomorrow should be.

What would you do? Walk 7 miles & try to improve last Sunday’s time or walk 8 miles & my goal should be to just finish & not worry about the time.

  3. navadoeslife said: If you have a goal just to finish and not focus on time, I’d just do the mileage. But if you have to keep a certain pace and have some extra days/weeks between your training schedule and race I’d go ahead and focus on pace.
